DIY Toilet Bowl Cleaner
1 cup water
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup Castile soap
1 capful of Thieves Cleaner
15 drops of whatever you want – I like using purification or a citrus essential oil

Add to a bottle like this.

You squeeze it into the toilet bowl, then add peroxide. This actually activates it and kills all the germy yucky stuff.

Scrub and flush!

Cucumber Salad

I love sushi.

We make all sorts of Asian inspired dishes at home but sushi is just one I’ll leave to the pros. Side dishes and stir fry however is fair game.

I have wanted to make my favorite salad to a great sushi night. The light and refreshing ever so yum Cucumber Salad. 🥒

This recipe is made with coconut aminos instead of soy sauce, which is great if you’re like me and love soy sauce recipes but would rather avoid the soy part. It’s gluten-free which makes it excellent for anyone on a low-carb diet!

I wasn’t sure this would taste like one off the menu but I was happily surprised.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Chop and slice cucumber to your liking set aside in dish.
  2. Combine rice vinegar, sesame oil, coconut aminos and salt to bowl.
  3. Add oil + vinegar mixture onto cucumbers 🥒 mix til covered.
  4. Sprinkle sesame seeds in top.
  5. Serve + eat immediately or store in air tight container for up to 2 days.
All soy flavor, none of the soy!! 🤗👏🏼

Let’s talk Coconut Aminos

Coconut aminos is relatively low in calories and carbs. It fits into virtually any diet, such as Paleo, vegan, low-carb, kosher, and keto.

What are coconut aminos? Coconut aminos is a liquid condiment that is very similar to soy sauce, except it’s made from the ‘sap” of coconuts, or the coconut-blossom nectar. It has a dark, rich, sweet, and salty flavor, and the texture is almost identical to real soy sauce, but without gluten, soy, or MSG. Because it is made using the sap of coconut, coconut aminos has a slightly sweet and salty flavor. However, it only contains one gram of natural sugar per tablespoon serving.

Chicken Philly Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients

  • 4 Colored Peppers
  • 1 Small Yellow Onion
  • 1 lb of Chicken Breast
  • Chicken Broth or Water (for chicken)
  • 2 T. Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 4-6 slices Provolone Cheese
  • 1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese

Directions

  1. Cook Chicken in the Instant Pot. I do 15 minutes on manual with slow release. I cover chicken in IP while cooking with broth, you can use water but liquid is needed to keep chicken from drying out.
  2. Shred Chicken.
  3. Add Italian Seasoning, Salt + Pepper to Chicken and set aside.
  4. Cut open peppers and clean out seeds.
  5. Place peppers on baking sheet inside face up.
  6. Cut and dice onion and cook til soft.
  7. Combine cooked onion, shredded mozzarella cheese, and chicken into one bowl.
  8. Stuff mixture into the peppers on baking sheet equally.
  9. Add provolone to tops of peppers to cover.
  10. Cook at 350 degrees for 10-15 mins until cooked and melted.

Homemade Taco Seasoning

Tacos or their variation go down multiple nights a week in our house. We don’t leave this amazing meal to Tuesday only.

Add 2 T. of this taco seasoning to any 1lb of meat 🙂

Ingredients

We double the recipe above and add to a big spice jar. We are serious about our Tacos, and make 2 lbs of chicken turkey or beef at least when we cook.

Tiger Stripes with a side of Abs

For the last couple months at the gym I’ve skipped the treadmill and made all my weights heavier. 💪🏼 My goal was to build my core and my booty. Running like I had been was burning off too much of what I needed to gain. I was literally running my ass off! 🤣

So I changed up a bit of my routine + been pushing myself to try more advanced exercises. I still get nervous of the unknown at the gym so getting more confident there has been amazing. Feeling how strong I’m becoming from the inside out is seriously the best reward. 👏🏻 I have actual abs forming and I could cry! 🥰😍🤗 if the 16 year old me could see me now. You can see how these shorts fit now that I’ve beefed up my booty and legs. #allthesquats


The stretch marks are still there, they are much lighter and my skin is definitely firmer since starting the boswellia wrinkle cream on my stomach daily. But ladies, don’t let the picture fool you, I still very much have saggy skin. If I even start to bend over it crinkles up! 😳🤣 It’s simply part of being a mama bear and I’m totally ok with that.

DIY Flaxseed Hair Gel

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

✨Boil water + flaxseed in pot. Stir with wooden spoon until white frothy gel like liquid forms.🌋

✨Continue stirring while it simmers. 🌊

✨Remove from heat 🔥

✨Strain over bowl. (Repeat this until all seed is separate from gel… took me about 4 strains)

✨Allow to cool cold 🌬

✨Add aloe 🌱 , Vitamin E + Essential Oils. 💧

✨Store in container in fridge. Use within 2 – 3 weeks, will expire. Vitamin E should help persevere but please check as you use to make sure it’s still good. ⭐️💫🖤
